Beretta coming to Tennessee

Today, the Italian gun manufacturer Beretta announced plans to build manufacturing and research site in Gallatin, TN.  Apparently, Tennessee’s support for gun rights was one of the primary deciding factors that edged Beretta’s choice for our state over some other states who were vying for this new site.  Those other states included Kentucky, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Texas, and Georgia.  Beretta will retain its plant in Maryland.

Officials expect that the plant will bring 300 jobs to the Gallatin area.  The $450 million dollar plant is due to begin construction in May, and to be completed and functional by early next year.  The company is looking to purchase about 100 acres at the Gallatin Industrial Center off Airport Road.

With this new project bringing more people to the area, just drop us a line or give us a call if you’d like to see some lovely homes in and around Gallatin.  We could add in a line here about lining up the homes and taking aim at the best one–but we won’t…
